Thuy Xuan Dang, OD
Dr. Thuy Dang earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. During her education, she developed a strong interest in patient care and ocular disease. Her clinical training brought her back to her home state of Washington, where she completed rotations at several prestigious locations, including the Naval Health Clinic, Evergreen Eye Center, and American Lake VA. These experiences allowed her to refine her clinical skills while providing compassionate care to a diverse range of patients. After graduation, Dr. Dang further advanced her expertise by undertaking a primary care residency with a focus on ocular disease at Kaiser Permanente.
One of Dr. Dang's favorite aspects of her work is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with her patients. She enjoys listening to their stories, learning about their hobbies, and addressing their concerns, all while providing personalized care for their visual health. Dr. Dang believes that fostering these connections helps create a positive and trusting environment for her patients.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Dang enjoys spending time with her family and friends and nurturing her small flower garden.
