Anjali Rupela, OD
Optometrist
Native to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Rupela attended the University of Washington in Seattle for her undergraduate education then moved to Portland to attend Pacific University College of Optometry where she earned her doctorate. Her clinical training includes a US Air Force Base medical center, Veterans Affairs hospital, Pacific University ocular disease clinics, and a surgical co-management practice. After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Rupela furthered her education by completing a residency at the Spokane Veterans Affair Medical Center and specialized in the treatment and management of ocular disease.
Dr. Rupela strongly advocates for her patients and strives to provide the best eye care possible for each individual patient. She has received the Optometric Physicians of Washington Student Member of the Year Award and the J&J Vision Award of Excellence in Contact Lens. Additionally, she has traveled to Costa Rica twice volunteering her time to provide eye care to underserved populations. Dr. Rupela is passionate about eye care and specializes in managing a wide range of ocular conditions such as red eyes, floaters, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, keratoconus, and diabetic retinopathy.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Rupela enjoys reading novels, swimming in lakes, and hiking through the PNW.
