Macular Degeneration
Macular Degeneration is a deterioration of the central portion of the retina, the inside layer of the eye that records the images we see and sends them through the optic nerve from the eye to the brain for processing.
Our offices utilize cutting-edge technology to aid in the early diagnosis and treatment of this sight-threatening condition. Both offices have the Zeiss Cirrus OCT and the Optomap to image and measure the macula to a very high degree of accuracy and reproducibility.
